FAQ

Everything you need to know about Genfinite products, ordering, and research use guidelines.

Products & Research

What does 'For Research Use Only' mean?

All Genfinite products are classified as research chemicals intended solely for in vitro scientific research. They are not approved for human consumption, clinical application, veterinary use, or any use outside of a controlled laboratory setting. Purchasing from Genfinite indicates your agreement to use these compounds for research purposes only.

Are your peptides FDA approved?

No. The compounds we sell are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any therapeutic use. They are research-grade chemicals sold under the Research Use Only (RUO) framework. We make no medical claims about any product.

What purity standard do your products meet?

All Genfinite peptides are produced to a minimum ≥98% purity standard. Purity is confirmed via HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) and mass spectrometry by an independent third-party laboratory.

Can I get a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for my order?

Yes. A COA is available for every product and every batch. Simply contact us via the contact page with your order number and we will provide the relevant documentation. COA availability is one of our core commitments.

What does 'lyophilized' mean and why does it matter?

Lyophilization is a freeze-drying process that removes moisture from the compound under low temperature and pressure. This dramatically extends shelf life, preserves compound integrity, and prevents degradation during shipping. It is the gold standard for research peptide formulation.

Ordering & Shipping

Who can purchase from Genfinite?

Purchases are open to individuals who are 21 years of age or older and who intend to use the compounds for legitimate research purposes. By completing a purchase, you confirm your agreement with our Terms of Service and Research Use Only policy.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States. International shipping availability varies by region and applicable regulations. Contact us for information on your specific location.

How should I store my peptides upon receipt?

Lyophilized peptides should be stored at -20°C (standard freezer) away from light and moisture for maximum shelf life. Once reconstituted, store refrigerated at 4°C and use within the appropriate timeframe for your research protocol.

What is your refund policy?

Due to the nature of research chemicals and cold-chain requirements, all sales are final unless the product arrives damaged or there is a verified quality issue. Contact us within 72 hours of receipt if you experience any issues with your order.

Legal & Compliance

Is it legal to buy peptides?

Purchasing research peptides under the Research Use Only framework is legal in the United States for individuals 21 and older. Regulations vary by jurisdiction and compound. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with applicable laws in your location. We recommend consulting legal counsel if you have specific compliance questions.

Do you sell peptides that are FDA-approved drugs?

No. We do not sell compounds that are classified as prescription drugs or controlled substances by the FDA. All products in our catalog are available under the Research Use Only framework.

Are your products tested for contaminants?

Yes. Third-party laboratory testing includes screening for common contaminants, residual solvents, and heavy metals in addition to purity and identity verification. Full testing parameters are documented in the COA.
